This is the time of year for the
Aloha Classic boardsailing competition at Ho'okipa Beach Park. This year the contest is enjoying great wind and wave conditions, as sailors from around the world compete for prestige and prizes. There's one more day of heats, and the winners will be chosen from among the best in the field.
Many people on Maui spent their Veteran's Day just relaxing at the beach and having a good time.
