It's sunny this weekend on Maui and I'm really glad to be staying home to send out the newsletter and work in the garden. The new crop of beans and beets are going off, and little start plants are ready to go into the ground for summer eating. Everyone's talking about putting in a garden it seems. Don't forget there's a Farmer's Market every Saturday morning at the Eddie Tam Center in Makawao. Get fresh produce, jams and jellies and other goodies, help the local farmers.

Pukalani Superette - a great local store

Pukalani Superette - Pukalani Maui Hawaii - it's priceless

- I love this upcountry store - they are small and friendly and they have some of the best prices on things like Kula sweet onions. They also have a great selection of ready to eat things.

- yesterday I stopped in on my way home from Kula, it was late in the day and I really just wanted to get home and work in my garden, so .....
