Our next WWOOFer arrives at the Kahului airport tomorrow, and I don't know if I'm ready.
We got her cabin ready today - I hope. When we went to "the minipad" to check it out, the place had been invaded by ants! Those little bastards had made a nest in the window blinds, and in the windows themselves. Not to mention the garbage can that was breeding mosquitoes! Anyway, we got it all taken care of and now the minipad is tidy and ready to occupy.... whew.
This will be our second time experiencing a traveling WWOOFer. So far so good. I hope we can keep her busy. She likes to surf!
What's a WWOOFer? WWOOF is an organization that connects willing workers and organic farms around the world. We're trying it out still.
If you're looking for an organic farm on Maui, there's some for sale, especially in Haiku. Let me know if I can help you find one.Georgina M. Hunter R(S) e-Pro
