This is my new car for 2006. It's a Honda again, since I was very happy with my last Honda. Furniture shopping on Maui

Maui now has a great selection of stores selling home furnishings. The nice thing is that they offer a wide range of choices, from inexpensive to very high end.

Here in the Pacific, the Asian influence is very strong, and you can find some fabulous Chinese and Japanese antiques, along with modern reproductions. Armoires, coffee tables, benches and cabinets from the orient are very popular right now, and look great in Hawaiian homes.

Teak furniture from Indonesia is also quite available, and very practical here with so many homes employing outdoor living spaces. Rattan condo furniture is pretty standard and easy to find. If you seek truly unique pieces, there are some specialty shops that continually bring in the best furniture that money can buy.
