Paia Train Depot, Baldwin Ave.

The old train depot in Upper Paia has been renewed, with some arty shops and a place to sit and have lunch beside the lunch wagon.
You'll find the historic Paia Train Depot on Baldwin Ave., about 1 mile up from the Hana Highway and Lower Paia.

New calf on Maui

2001 RANCH ~ MAUI
For the herd of cows at 2001 Ranch, there's some new calves coming this spring. This cute little guy is only a few days old, and already enjoying the April sunshine.

The herd numbers 15 head now, with more to come. They're grass fed, and free to range over 80 acres of property consisting of lush oceanfront pastures on Maui. The north shore gets plenty of rain and warm fresh air, just right for creating a perfect environment for raising cattle. What more could a cow want?

If you know what you want, whether it's a home on the range, or a beach condo, please call me about owning your own property on Maui.

Kapila Gardens, Honopou Maui

On the north shore of Maui there is a region known as Honopou. The ample rainfall and warm climate are ideal for growing tropical plants and trees. The area was once populated with thousands of Hawaiians, who cultivated taro and sweet potatoes, and lived off the land. Nowadays it's populated with many types of newcomers, along with kama'aina families who have lived here for generations.

The coastline is rugged with cliffs and rocky beaches giving way to forested mountain slopes. Years of weather have eroded some steep gulches and valleys, now filled with myriad varieties of plants, side by side with endemic species. Ocean and mountain views can be enjoyed at every turn.

KAPILA GARDENS is a significant location in the Honopou district. Once the site of King Kalakaua's taro patches and paolimas, the property is a historical site and a botanical delight, lush with mango trees, ginger plants and ferns. Honopou Stream permanently flows nearby, with many natural pools and waterfalls.

Please inquire about this area if you're looking to buy a tropical hideaway on Maui. Many excellent parcels are available for sale today. If you want a place to grow on Maui, call me:
